Litespeed titanium hardtail Mountain Bike

$600.00

This is a hardtail titanium bike from the 90s. Very nice welding on the frame. Trigger shift 3x9 DeoreXT. Rear deraileur is the opposite movement or “reverse pull” type. The upshift is from large cassette cog to a smaller one, and vice versa. Brakes are Shimano "parallel push” V-brake type that always keep a flat profile to the rim. Rim sidewall and brake pad wear is minimal. Rear hub is a Chris King, 135mm spacing. Fork is a RockShock SID. Fork settings work well. Seatpost is a carbon fiber. Front tire has weathered but intact sidewalls. Wheels are 26”. Pedals are flat composite, and Shimano SPD pedals are included with the bike. Bike is medium-large and should fit somebody about 5’11" give or take a couple inches. Unweighted standover is 30.5”. The water bottle bolts on the downtube (image 11) are corroded in place and have resisted our efforts to remove them. The seat tube water bottle bolts are fine. There is one tooth missing from the large chainring (see picture), although it does not affect the shifting or pedaling.

This bike was generously donated to Bike Buddies, who provide free bikes to kids and families in need in the Columbia Gorge area. Proceeds from the sales of adult bikes go to the BikeBuddies nonprofit to buy parts for the kids bikes which are repaired and refurbished by our volunteer mechanics.
